School laboratory furniture built for classroom use
These modular science tables are made for school and college labs, where furniture takes daily use from full classes and has to keep working for years rather than terms. The frame is welded as one piece rather than shipped flat pack, so there are no bolted joints to loosen as tables get moved, leaned on and worked at.
A centred bottom rail runs along the base rather than a rear rail, which leaves both sides clear for stools or chairs. That lets tables be used from either side and grouped for practical work.
Bought direct from the manufacturer
We make our school laboratory furniture in our own UK workshop rather than buying it in, so there is no reseller markup between us and your school. For departments working to a fixed budget that difference goes further, and it means questions about specification, lead times or fitting out a full lab are answered by the people who build the tables.
Trespa TopLab Base worktop as standard
Every school lab table is topped with 16mm Trespa TopLab Base, the same worktop we use on professional laboratory benching. It resists chemical spills, scratching and abrasion, and is rated from -40°C to +180°C, so bunsen burners, hot plates and heated equipment can be used directly on the surface. All edges are chamfered and polished for a safe finish at student height.
Specified for your classroom
Tables are available from 1000mm through to 1800mm wide with a 600mm depth suited to classroom layouts. Choose adjustable levelling feet for a fixed arrangement, or heavy duty braked castors if tables need to be moved between lessons. Frames come in Black, Light Grey (RAL 7035) or White (RAL 9016), with five Trespa worktop colours to match your department.
Because everything is built to order, we can also make tables to a size or height outside the standard range, whether that is fitting an awkward classroom, matching existing furniture, or supplying a full science department refit.
